Anne Weston retired earlier this year after serving for 26yrs as our sacristan in Clonaghadoo. Anne’s commitment, dedication and trustworthiness were second to none. She loved her work and it showed in the attention she gave to the tiniest of details. Thanks Anne from us all.

VENERABLE NANO NAGLE
The Presentation Sisters all around the world have celebrated the official announcement of the declaration of the Order’s founder, Nano Nagle, as Venerable. This announcement brings the Canonisation of Nano Nagle one step closer as it is the second of four stages in the Canonisation Process. Since 1854 the Presentation Sisters have been a profound presence here in Mountmellick. On Sun Nov 24th 2013 past-pupils and friends of the Presentation Sisters gathered for a special celebration mass at 12 noon to honour Nano Nagle.
