On Sunday we celebrate Corpus Christi (the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ). It is a feast of the Saviour’s Paschal Mystery and it flows from Easter and Pentecost. It is God’s gift, coming direct to us from the divine life of the Trinity, which we celebrated last week. But it is also our movement toward God. We are invited to ‘take and eat’, ‘take and drink’, and to do this in memory of him. “The body of Christ, Amen”.
